My husband and I recently moved to North East, MD and love living here. We can walk to 12 restaurants and 2 beautiful parks from our house. We walk our dog every morning and love sitting on our porches watching the world go by. On one of our first walks I found a rock peeking out from the landscaping the lines Main St. I did a little digging and found out I could move it or keep it. If I kept it, I was supposed to replace it. This was my first time finding a rock and I loved the idea and the community! I have since joined a few rock painting groups and enjoy painting some of my own. I usually hide them in my own town, but when I venture into other areas I will hide them there as well. And of course, I always have a rock or two with me in case I ever find one in the wild that I would like to add to my personal collection.

This past time is fun, relaxing, and doesn't require any artistic talent at all! I find pictures that inspire me and then do my best to copy them. I am improving at my own pace, and love having something cute I can share with the world that I made myself. It's also a fun activity to do with my niece and nephew.
